Beyoncé to Play Lead in Bradley Cooper’s Remake of ‘A Star Is Born’?

According to Page Six, Beyonce is set to make a return to the big screen in the remake of  'A Star is Born'

"Bradley Cooper is moving ahead with his planned directorial debut — a remake of the classic “A Star Is Born” — and Beyoncé is on board to star with him, sources tell Page Six.
But insiders added that although Cooper’s now meeting with producers in Hollywood to back the project, the film won’t be ready to go before cameras until the end of next year, or possibly January 2017.
“Beyoncé is a go,” said a source of Cooper’s
remake of “A Star Is Born,” which originated in 1937, was remade in 1954 with Judy Garland and James Mason, and again in 1976 with Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand.
She was originally said to be interested in the “A Star Is Born” remake when it was to be helmed by Cooper’s “American Sniper” director Clint Eastwood, who then dropped out."
Speaking to E! News, Bradley Cooper said it was "just a rumor" but he "would be honored obviously to work with her in any capacity."
