Donnie McClurkin found himself on the receiving end of (what was meant to be) a joke by Miss Lawrence of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta' who made his first appearance on the series as himself.

While meeting with Jamal Lyon, and trying to impress him into doing a duet, Miss Lawrence made reference to Donnie attending a fictional event to be launched to celebrate the achievements of gay men.
